What are the frugal topics you care about?

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

This blog has been sadly neglected for a while, but the time has come to revive it! Here’s the only issue: it seems like the “personal finance blogging” scene has grown a little stale. I’m not sure what more I can say about general personal finance concepts that would be new and different from all the great information that’s already out there.

It occurred to me, though, that another post telling you to trade lattes for retirement investments might not be what you’re interested in, anyway. There are still a fair number of readers subscribed in spite of my lazy blogging, and I’m willing to put it some time to write good, helpful articles… you just have to tell me what you want to read about.

Below is a super-quick survey with some topics I can write about. I’m also open to suggestions (that’s why there’s an “Other:” option). I’d appreciate it very much if you’d spend a minute helping me decide where to take this blog.

There’s no particular reason to post this (in terms of holidays and whatnot) but it’s cheap and too darn cute to pass up:

savingadvice over at Financial Baby Steps has great post called “A Perfect Newborn Gift - 529 College Saving Plan“. I think this is a great idea, and the newborns in my life will probably benefit.

Meal plans

Many people are coming here from Google searches on meal plans and frugal meal planning, so I decided to put mine online as an example (on the right side under “Articles > Meal plans”). You won’t see rice or beans anywhere, because my husband, Daniel, is allergic. But it’s reasonably frugal anyway, and we eat well.
