Famous frugalites
I came across an amusing article this morning called “Tips to save a buck from the cheap, famous“. It looks at (real and fictional) frugalites through the ages and asks, “What can we learn from them?”

Abraham Lincoln was famously frugal. Not only did he work for a credit reporting agency, but he once turned down a request for an $80 loan because it would only further his stepbrother’s debt problems.
