Have you ever read one of those fashion magazines where they go on and on about bargains, and then you realize: they think a pair of jeans under $100 is a bargain?
Of course, we all know that different people have different expectations, but it can be a little hard to relate when they’re too different.
I don’t want to do that here. I’m planning on featuring some yummy-yet-budget recipes, and want to make sure I’m hitting the mark and giving you ideas you’ll actually want to use. So tell me what will help you most!

I can make a good, healthy, often organic meal for our family of four for around $10. One trick is the limit the meat and bulk up your recipe with beans or legumes. We just started using lentils…even the kids will eat them.
