What are the frugal topics you care about?

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

This blog has been sadly neglected for a while, but the time has come to revive it! Here’s the only issue: it seems like the “personal finance blogging” scene has grown a little stale. I’m not sure what more I can say about general personal finance concepts that would be new and different from all the great information that’s already out there.

It occurred to me, though, that another post telling you to trade lattes for retirement investments might not be what you’re interested in, anyway. There are still a fair number of readers subscribed in spite of my lazy blogging, and I’m willing to put it some time to write good, helpful articles… you just have to tell me what you want to read about.

Below is a super-quick survey with some topics I can write about. I’m also open to suggestions (that’s why there’s an “Other:” option). I’d appreciate it very much if you’d spend a minute helping me decide where to take this blog.

I would love to see some “what next” info on frugal living! There is a lot of information on cutting costs when people start their frugal journey, but once you’ve done all of those things, what next? Maybe just some encouragement to hang in there, or some further grocery cost-cutting methods/ recipes?

Thanks for the idea, Charity. I’ll definitely add that to my topic list.

Glad to see you back on track, Sarah! I’d love to see lots more tips and tricks for just being frugal in general. Whether that’s on cutting monthly electric bills, taking advantage of BOGO sales or unique methods of reusing or recycling old items for new uses. Things like that are always fun.

I’d like to see ways to save on stuff we can’t avoid: legal services, insurance (especially health insurance), taxes….stuff that’s not as day-to-day, like caulking your windows.

    Thanks for asking!
